Our Kindergarten program at Josie’s Bright Beginnings is a funded, play-based learning program for children aged 4–5 years, led by qualified early childhood teachers. As a trusted childcare centre in Hillside, the program supports a smooth transition to school, nurturing social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, as well as early literacy and numeracy skills.
The Kinder Room provides a comprehensive school readiness program and a rich, play-based curriculum. Children explore both indoor and outdoor learning areas, including dramatic play, arts and crafts, construction, and school readiness zones, all designed to meet each child’s individual needs. Our outdoor spaces promote fundamental movement skills, teamwork, and active play.
Our curriculum is child-centered and interest-driven, offering opportunities for individual tasks, group projects, and social interactions. Over the year, children complete more than 600 hours of structured learning, preparing them confidently for primary school. Child Care Subsidy
At Josie’s Bright Beginnings, we’re proud to be an approved provider under the Federal Government’s Child Care Subsidy (CCS), helping families access affordable, high-quality care.
CCS reduces your out-of-pocket fees based on your income, activity level, and childcare needs.
The subsidy is paid directly to us, so you simply pay the gap. Even if you have limited activity hours, you may still be eligible for up to 36 subsidised hours in our kinder program.
