At Josie’s Bright Beginnings, our fully funded kindergarten program is proudly marked with the Kinder Tick, giving families confidence in the quality of care and education we provide.
This recognised symbol confirms our program is approved by the Victorian Government, led by qualified early childhood teachers, and built on play-based learning that helps prepare children for school and beyond.
Our kindergarten is more than just approved—it’s nurturing. Set within our boutique, family-run  childcare centre in Hillside, each child is supported in a safe, stimulating and personalised environment where they can grow and thrive.

We have been coming here for 2 years. Original management were ok.. the Educators were good but the old owner Josie not so much. Defiantly a big improvement now that’s its new ownership. The educators are still good and my daughter loves going there and seeing her friends. Mamta the new owner is very understanding and caring.

Amazing place! My little one loves going there! The owner Josie and all her staff are on top of things and so lovely and attentive. I’ve even been called when my little one was missing their comforter to sleep!! So appreciative of them and everything they do!

We have been at Josies for a little over 3 months. The only regret I have is that my girl, Tara, didn't spend all her child care days with these lovely ladies. Due to job changes and moving Tara, has been in quite a few day care centres. This is the best of them all!You can feel the love as soon as you walk in the door, the staff are exceptional and Josie is lovely. I cannot recommend them high enough. Thanks to all, I know Tara will be very ready for school this year. XX

Absolutely fantastic nursery! My child goes to Bright Beginnings and she has developed so much since being there. She can't wait to get there and hardly wants to leave every day.Josie herself is a sparkling light and all the staff are so great with the kids. They always keep them engaged, the food they serve is great, and Alice's communication and behaviour have skyrocketed in the 6 months she's been attending.I would never let my children go anywhere else.

We nurture, love and educate your children.

At Josie’s Bright Beginnings, we’re proud to be an approved provider under the Federal Government’s Child Care Subsidy (CCS), helping families access affordable, high-quality care.
CCS reduces your out-of-pocket fees based on your income, activity level, and childcare needs.

The subsidy is paid directly to us, so you simply pay the gap. Even if you have limited activity hours, you may still be eligible for up to 36 subsidised hours in our kinder program.
